Step Brothers did quite well, exceeding its estimates and grossing $30 million to finish a strong second to the bat. The X-Files Movie was ... well ... too little too late. It barely registered a blip on the radar, and grossed only $10 million, some 50% below estimates. (To demonstrate how deeply it disappointed, Weekend Warrior thought it would gross $23 million!)
