What else would one expect from our Texas Rangers who have arguably the best offense in baseball and the worst pitching? This was a wild one. The Red Sox took a 10-0 lead in the first inning and blew it. The BoSox were down 16-15 coming into the bottom of the eighth, but they scored four more to ice it.How desperate are the Rangers for pitching? Feldman gave up ten runs in the first inning and didn't get yanked! Feldman became the first pitcher in 90 years to allow 12 or more runs without being charged with a loss!
Big Papi knocked in six in that first frame - quite a good inning's work!
