Let me make it clear what I mean. I am not saying that his total will lead the major leagues, although it will. What I am saying is that the big fella, having been traded mid-season, still leads the American league in shutouts from his time there AND he also leads the National League in shutouts from his time there. I haven't checked the record books, but I don't think it's possible that anyone has ever done that before in baseball history - mainly because it's pretty freakin' amazing.
