The Day the Earth Stood Still, a remake with a monstrous buidget and distribution to 3500 theaters, is the 800-pound gorilla. It is expected to take in about as much as the rest of the top ten added together. The Warrior's best guess is about $45 million.Nothing Like the Holidays is expected to gross a respectable seven million dollars in 1600 theaters, while Delgo is expected to gross an embarrassing four million in 2200 theaters.
Milk expands to 328 theaters, and is expected to finish somewhere on the bottom of the list.
Here is the Rotten Tomatoes link for the reviews. (Delgo 17%, The Day the Earth Stood Still 22%, Nothing Like the Holidays 50%)
