(If you don't know what he's parodying, he's provided a link to the original - a page which also includes another guy ridiculing it.)I didn't find the celebrity thing quite as hypocritical and narcissistic as the critics did. I don't think there's anything wrong with telling young people to hold on to their dreams. Idealism is the tenuous stitching that binds the thin fabric of human civilization.
I did notice however, that the whole thing didn't seem to consist of sincere individuals speaking from the heart, but rather just talented performers reciting their lines effectively -- except for course for Ashton Kutcher.
Not that he's any more sincere. It's just that I can't apply that whole darned "talented" adjective. It's worth watching the video just to see how Kutcher sticks out from the crowd. Some of the other celebs aren't even actors, but they still deliver lines better than the Ash.
