Guess who it is? He created and starred in a cult series which had possibly the most powerful opening any series ever had: dramatic thunderclaps accompanied slamming doors as he threw down his resignation and intoned: "I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, de-briefed or numbered. My life is my own. ... I am not a number. I am a free man."Talk about avant-garde! This guy was so far ahead of his time that we still have not caught up to him, after 40 years. Half the time I don't understand what's going on in that series (I still don't get the ending), but I always love it!
Khan and #6 within a day. A sad time for us baby boomers, but one filled with great memories. Wherever they are now, you know Khan is the new #2, and is placing one of those ear-creatures inside #6's head - but he'll never talk!
