People need a class to talk to the dead? I've found that talking to the dead is quite simple. After all, they rarely interrupt. The hard part is getting them to talk back to you. Given the circumstances, it seems to me that they are the ones who need the class to learn to talk to us. Unfortunately, they are not generally known for their good attendance, and they're really screwed if the teacher is one of those dudes who bases the entire grade on classroom participation.
