It's official: Fish get seasick | The Sun |News

"A GERMAN scientist has discovered that fish get SEASICK"
Oh, science. Is there no limit to thy mysteries?

The headline is pure sensationalism. If you read the article, you'll see that the fish actually got AIRsick, not seasick. They were sent up in a plane, which then went into a steep power dive. The fish didn't know how to react and got disoriented, which is not too surprising, when you think about it, since this rarely happens underwater. Oh, and by the way, 41 of the 49 fish did NOT get airsick.

"The eight seasick fish were later culled and their brains examined to try to find the exact cause of their sickness." The rest of their bodies were glazed with a light pineapple/mango sauce and poached. Interestingly, the scientists found that the eight seasick fish proved to be 11.403% more delicious than the fish which did not get sick.
