It's easy to see why Coconutism never quite caught on like Christianity or Buddhism.

Especially in non-tropical climates.

But people do learn to make do without coconuts. Up here on the tundra, we obviously don't have any palm trees, so we have to practice REFORM Coconutism. We use Cocoa PUFFS instead.
