"In an ancient tradition Indian priests smash coconuts on the head of worshipers in honor of ancient gods. If the coconut breaks it is believed the person was being rewarded by god, if it doesn't break the person hasn't been honoring the gods"It's easy to see why Coconutism never quite caught on like Christianity or Buddhism.
Especially in non-tropical climates.
But people do learn to make do without coconuts. Up here on the tundra, we obviously don't have any palm trees, so we have to practice REFORM Coconutism. We use Cocoa PUFFS instead.
That is to say, we do that if the sleds can make it through from Moose Jaw with our Cocoa Puffs.
