Leo the Listmaker's Pop Culture Palace

Leo the Listmaker looks at the "top stars of tomorrow" - as imagined in 1966


Some big hits - a great call on Bob Redford, then an unknown, as well as future stars Raquel Welch, George Segal and Alan Arkin.

But a big miss on their #1 draft choice - Elizabeth Hartman, whose career sputtered, then stalled after an Oscar nomination at age 22. She eventually "fell" from a fifth story window and died at 43.
