Oh, my stars and garters, it was chaos. I hear that some of the ragamuffins even shouted "get a horse" at some of our most distinguished bow-tied and derby-clad gentlemen. Why, those rapscallions were altogether untoward!

Y'know, I lived in Oslo for a couple of years, and I'd always save the local page of the Dagbladet newspaper to show people how utterly (and blessedly) uneventful life could be in Norway. Occasionally the top headline in that city of some 600,000 people would be something like "thief steals old lady's purse at the airport." But even in Oslo, even in the world's most pleasantly boring city, "kids flip off passers-by" was not considered newsworthy.
