Solaris does not deserve to be on this list. For a science fiction film, it's slow moving, but at it's heart, it's a love story. I think Solaris made this list because audiences were expecting something else. It is a very good, very intellectual film that deserves credit for being science fiction with quite an original story...even though it's been made before!
