There were three new movies, but Iron Man 2 held on top the #1 spotRobin Hood (3500 theaters)came the closest to beating ol' Tinhead. The two went down to the wire, with Iron Man emerging a 15-13 victor.
The gooey Seyfried movie (3000 theaters) pulled in $5 million, enough for third place.
Just Wright (2000 theaters) took a distant fourth with about three millon dollars.
No surprises there. The Warrior predicted that they would finish 2-3-4 with $39m-14-9 for the weekend, so everything is proceeding according to plan.
The three new films had comparable percentages of positive responses fom the critics. As I type this, they are running 46%-45%-44% on RT.
