Football legend George Blanda passes away at 83

He probably died on the field, from a particularly hard tackle. Hey, if anyone could have been playing at 83, it was The Bland Old Man, George Frederick Blanda.

If there had been fantasy football in his era, he would have been the king. He was the QB and the place kicker! When he retired, he held the all-time record for points scored.

Oh, yeah, and when they needed him, he played a little linebacker as well!
