The all-time record for a November opening is $142m+, set by New Moon last year. The second highest total on that list drops way down to $102m, set by Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, the 2005 installment of the popular franchise. The new Potter film is expected to fall about halfway between those two. That should place it somewhere in the vicinity of #5, #6, or #7 on the inclusive all-time list for all months. That thriller with Russell Crowe and Liam Neeson will get lost in the shuffle. It's expected to finish fourth overall, but with a total barely into double figures.
