Paramount Sets Sacha Baron Cohen’s ‘The Dictator’ For May 11, 2012 Release –

In case you forgot, Sacha = Borat. Here's the pitch: "The film tells the heroic story of a dictator who risked his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed. It is inspired by the best selling novel, Zabibah and The King, by Saddam Hussein."

Oddly enough, I reviewed the theatrical version of Zabibah and the King back in early 2001, pre 9-11. I quoted some of the reviews from the Baghdad papers:
