Harrison Tyler founded the company for which I work (ChemTreat - an industrial water treatment firm) and still routinely came into the office until about 4 years ago. He is still mentally sharp and has an encyclopedic knowledge of American history. He's endowed chairs in history at William and Mary and UVA and financed an archeological dig by VCU at a Civil War era fort on the banks of the James River.
