Obama touts American tourism

Obama Highlights the Best America Has to Offer

Last week, President Obama took a trip to Disney World to announce his plan to boost U.S. tourism. Highlights:

"“America has a lot to offer the world. Our great state of Connecticut was recently voted the ‘Most Pretentious Place In the Known Universe’ and the parts of New Orleans that have recently resurfaced only smell slightly of seawater and FEMA’s shame.”

So far, reaction to his speech has been surprisingly positive, even from his Republican opposition.

“I think that tourism is a vital part of America’s economy, and I’m utterly behind it,” Mitt Romney said of Obama’s speech. “But if those foreign bastards try to stay here for good, God help them all.”
