Wrong Jimmy!
ABC hosts the Oscars, and Jimmy Kimmel works for ABC, so that's a natural. Kimmel would make a great Oscar host, in my opinion. He loves pop culture and smoothly mixes respect and ridicule, as he proved at the White House Correspondent's dinner. He has a great talent for one-liners.
Fallon, on the other hand, is a nice kid who sings and dances, is good at Charades, and does a great Neil Young impression. He has roughly the same personality and skill set as Anne Hathaway, and we all know how well that worked out.
