Paranormal Activity 4 came in about 2/3 as high as the experts predicted, but that was still enough to win the weekend with as much as the next two films added together.
Alex Cross performed exactly as expected - $11+ million, 5th place.
Two holdovers performed brilliantly:
- Hotel Transylvania actually improved from 4th place to third.
- Argo dropped only 14% from last week.
