If the season ended now, Oregon would be edged out of the title game by FSU! Four of the seven computer systems rank FSU first in the nation. (Two select Alabama, one Missouri)
The computers are not impressed with Miami and Baylor, but they love Virginia Tech, ranking them 8th in the nation (damned if I know why), compared to 19th from the human voters. Also surprising to me is that the computer systems give Fresno State and Northern Illinois solid ratings.
