There were no surprises in the top 21. None of the ranked teams lost to unranked opponents and match-ups between ranked teams always resulted in a win for the one with a better ranking. There were some losses in the 22-25 group, but who cares?
The only really interesting thing to mention is that the Baylor offense continued to improve - and they were already rated #1 in the country! For the fourth consecutive week, they scored 28 in the first quarter. They had scored 63 points after their first drive in the second half, then pulled all the starters and cruised to 73. Their 864 yards of total offense is the new Big 12 record, and they could probably have scored 100 points with 1000 yards had they left the starters in.
Baylor's opponent, West Virginia, has been unpredictable lately. They have lost by 31 and 37 in the past three weeks. On the other hand, they beat a #11 team in the intervening game!
