The Maryland Terrapins' dream is shattered

The Maryland Terrapins' dream is shattered
So here's the deal: for about a week or so, the Maryland squad thought they could play football. They were undefeated coming into today's game. Their offense was averaging 40 points per game, and their defense was rated #3 in the nation, so their average game was a 40-10 victory. They were in the Top 25. They were coming off a 37-0 win against West Virginia, which has a solid football program.

And then ...

And then they played a real team (the Florida State Seminoles) and suffered what may have been the most embarrassing conference loss in football history. They lost 63-0. No top 25 team has ever lost a game by more than 63 points. EVER.
