That places him in exclusive company. Only two other National Leaguers have led the league four consecutive years or more: Barry Bonds and Rogers Hornsby.
Three men have done it in the AL: Wade Boggs, Ted Williams, and Lou Gehrig.
(Babe Ruth led the league ten times altogether, but could never get four in a row. Barry Bonds also led his league ten times, but Teddy Ballgame topped them both, with a dozen OBP crowns spanning 19 years.)
