Box office report: 'The Lego Movie' beats 'About Last Night'

RoboCop: 3rd, $21M
Endless Love: 5th, $13M
Winter's Tale: 7th, $8M

Those grosses were about consistent with projections except for Winter's Tale, which really bombed. The experts expected it to do almost double that because of the 3000-theater distro. The film could muster no enthusiasm from audiences or critics, and that resulted in a gross below $3000 per theater.

About Last Night did great on Valentines Day, crossing the line first in a photo finish, but it faded quietly away. The Lego Movie was the champion on Saturday and Sunday, and it won going away, while RoboCop nosed out About Last Night for the #2 spot on each of those days,
