New Movies In Theaters - July 25th - Rotten Tomatoes

New Movies In Theaters - Rotten Tomatoes:

And So It Goes: PG-13, 1,760 theaters, 13% positive reviews. Cranky old people (Michael Douglas, Diane Keaton) chase children off their lawn, then learn how to love.

Hercules (2014): PG-13, 3,595 theaters, 71% positive reviews. Shakespeare, Al Swearengen and The Rock, together at last, directed by Brett Ratner. Dust off that mantel for a stack of Oscars.

Lucy: R, 3,172 theaters, 58% positive reviews. International fantasy/thriller directed by Luc Besson, starring ScarJo. Very few projects have a chance to be more brainless than a Brett Ratner movie, but if anyone can do it, Luc Besson is the man.

The Fluffy Movie: PG-13, 432 theaters, no reviews. Filmed comedy performance.

A Most Wanted Man: R, 361 theaters, 90% positive reviews. A filmed adaptation of a John le Carre novel with a high-powered cast including the late Phil Hoffman.

Wish I Was Here: R, 625 theaters, 39% positive reviews. Zach Braff's follow up to Garden State.
Box Office:

Lucy is expected to crush mighty Hercules, $35M-$22M, for first and second place.

And So It Goes is expected to pull in four or five million.

The Fluffy Movie might gross two million with luck.

The other two will have to hope for enthusiastic trial weeks to increase theater counts.
