The author is obsessed with the original cast, so the totally untalented Larraine Newman and the "I can sing but not much else" Garrett Morris are obviously rated much too high. Surprisingly the legendary Mr Mike may be a bit underrated!

Colin Quinn seems to me to be a bit overrated at "not last," although I guess he could be rated above the Muppets.

Walter Williams is not rated, but probably should be in somewhere in the top 35. (He's the creator of Mr. Bill. Although we never saw his face, his voice and hands were regulars on the show.) Except for the superstars like Belushi, Eddie Murphy and Will Ferrell, Mr Bill is perhaps the most universally memorable thing about SNL. The average person on the street has no idea who Jan Hooks (#26?), Ana Gasteyer (#33?) and Tim Kazurinsky (#32?) were, but everybody remembers Mr. Bill.
