NCAA College Basketball Tournament - round of 64, day 2

NCAA College Basketball Tournament - round of 64, day 2

The only upset of the day was Dayton's victory over Providence, which wasn't really all that surprising.

Out of the 11.6 million entries in the ESPN contest, exactly one guy had a perfect bracket in the round of 64. I'll be surprised if that contestant's success continues since his or her entry does NOT pick Kentucky to make the final four, assigning them a loss to Kansas in the round of eight. I'll say one thing for sure. If it goes to a tiebreaker based on the actual score of the final game, he's not going to win. He picked Duke to shut out Kansas 58-0. (Cold shooting night for the Jayhawks!) In other words, that first-round perfect score was posted by pure luck.

The top celebrities are Kevin Hart and Jimmy Kimmel, who each called 27 of the 32 games correctly, thus placing in the 99th percentile. President Obama called 24 correctly (71st percentile). Hart and Obama picked Kentucky to win the event by beating Villanova in the final game, while Kimmel predicted that Kansas would beat Gonzaga for the championship.
