Not so weird. (Trump personally tweets from an android while his staffers use iPhones.)
It is only an hypothesis, to be sure, but I'm guessing it is 100% correct. All the more technical tweets, the ones with URL links, hashtags and pictures, seem to come from iPhones. The android tweets consist only of words and @ identifiers.
