2016 Election Forecast | FiveThirtyEight - Trump's odds plummet

2016 Election Forecast | FiveThirtyEight - Trump suddenly faces longer odds

As of Monday afternoon, Trump had steadily climbed to a 48% chance of winning if the election were held that day. That has plummeted since the debate, reaching 28% today after three consecutive drops.

State polls have now moved Florida and North Carolina just barely back into the Clinton camp, although 538's "polls plus" methodology suggests that both states will return to Trump on election day.
