The only real irony is that Chapman got the win, despite allowing hits to the first three guys he faced! (He also got a blown save.)
It turns out that starting Kluber was a mistake. He was not himself. He struck out none, and got only one ground ball out.
Can you now say that Theo Epstein is the greatest executive in post-Rickey baseball history? Note to the Indians: your turn is next. Whatever it takes, hire that dude!
