Kelly Preston, young naked and magnificent in Spellbinder
Before Spellbinder there was substantial Kelly Preston nudity in the 1985-86 era (Mischief, Secret Admirer, and 52 Pick-Up). Spellbinder was released in 1988 and represented her last significant nudity. She married John Travolta in 1991 and started using body doubles soon afterwards, although she was subtly naked without a body double in that scene where she feeds Tom Cruise in Jerry Maguire (1996). I guess a certain amount of nudity was OK as long as it was done with a fellow Scientologist.
Did you remember that just before she started dating Travolta in earnest, she was engaged to Charlie Sheen? I suppose they might have married except that ol' Charlie once shot her in the arm! (It was an accident, like much of Charlie's life.)
