Laura Linney's full-frontal nude scene in Maze
Kind of an odd career. Pretty much no exposure until she did this scene at age 35, and then she wouldn't put her clothes back on for about a decade.
Our voters chose this as the third-best nude scene of 2001. (She finished behind Halle Berry ... and Halle Berry! It was the only time one woman has ever taken the top two spots in our annual poll.)
You could sort of see her getting more comfortable in the Tales of the City PBS productions. In the last one she briefly wore a bikini.
