Gonzaga is in the Final Four

Xavier was competitive for the first 13 minutes, after which it was 27-25. Gonzaga rode roughshod over them for the rest of the game (56-34).

Xavier did pretty damned well in the Big Dance for a team that finished 7th in a 10-team conference.

The Zags are in the tournament every year, 19 in a row now. In previous years they have been a #1 seed once before and have also had two 2s and two 3s, but this will be Gonzaga's first-ever trip to the Final Four!

The line for the remaining three games this weekend:

Today:

Kansas by 6.5 over Oregon (with a sizeable over/under of 158).

Tomorrow:

North Carolina by 2.5 over Kentucky (with another hefty over/under of 159.5).

Florida by 3 over South Carolina (with a meager 134.5 over/under)
