'Bad' Russian intel may have influenced how FBI and Comey handled Clinton email investigation, helping Trump win

  1. So tired of this fantasy. Hilary lost because she ran a lousy campaign, focused on the wrong states, and was a terrible candidate nobody liked. Her voter base stayed home. Only the left still buys the whole "she was cheated" bullshit. She wasn't cheated. She lost because she's such a crappy candidate that even a douche like trump could beat her.

    1. There is a myriad of reasons as to why she lost (some of which you crudely outlined) but at least in my state, the towns he did carry were by a small margin and I'm sure that those "undecideds" were swayed by "her emails". I myself had heard that used as an argument.
The point is that regardless of how much influence the FBI investigation wielded, the sheer fact that another government willfully tampered with an election in such an underhanded means is dubious.
Please don't counter with "the US has done similar things", meh, you'd be running quickly towards conspiratorial and away from truth which is much needed right now. Especially given the light of the global implication that Russian interference is having currently not just here, but abroad....

  2. That is merely your opinion, unsubstantiated by facts.

  4. While it's true that Clinton was a deeply flawed candidate it's not a fantasy that the Russians ran an extremely successful disinformation campaign. It's additionally the case that their disinformation campaign was uniquely effective because the GOP candidate enthusiastically ran with or nodded in the direction of much of the fictional content being pushed by Russian surrogates.

    1. This.

Also, Republican vote suppression (especially in Wisconsin, but also in a few other 'swing' states) is a real thing.

  5. I think it's also hard to dispute that had Hillary Clinton been a man and run the exact same campaign, Trump would have lost handily.

    1. Ha. It's very easily disputable. Remember the "play" the reversed the candidates genders? If it was Donna Trump vs Hilyard Clinton, Trump would have likely still won.

Biden would have likely won however, or at least had a better shot at carrying the Rust-belt states - where the election was decided.

    2. No way in hell does thrice-married Donna bragging about grabbing dicks get elected.

  6. Biggest Monday morning red herring ever. What matters NOW is how far Putin has his hand up Trump. NEED to see the tax returns for openers.

    PS Screw Hillary

    1. The only way the tax returns will see the light of day is if some intrepid investigative reporter(s) lie, cheat, or steal to uncover them. And they better be prepared to spend time in jail or prison.

Trump's not going to release them. There's more political peril in releasing them than in not releasing them.
