'Art of the Deal' writer predicts that Trump will resign by the end of the year
Yeah, right.
In general, Trump's ongoing "fake news" narrative is the defensive strategy of a guy trapped by facts with no effective rebuttal. This, however, actually is a textbook case of "fake news." One guy says Trump will resign. The 24-hour news shark needs fresh meat. Et voila! We have our story.
I have to say that I don't see a guy with the world's biggest ego resigning from the most visible, most powerful job in the known universe. He is in the place where, in his opinion, he was meant to be.
Yes, Trump is basically a troll, and he has no interest in actually doing the job of President, so what does he care if the world falls apart under his watch?
ReplyDeleteNot because I enjoy being cruel, but I hope the Mueller investigation conclusively proves that Trump committed treason with Russia and Putin, because the penalty for treason is death.
I'd like to see how all the Republicans who are so bloodthirsty when it comes to the death penalty try and explain why it shouldn't apply to Trump.
Unless he gave Putin secret intel that he knew would directly lead to American deaths, I'm pretty sure the prosecution won't seek the death penalty for a US president. LOL Although it would be the single greatest trial of all time.
DeleteTrump is no more a troll than Obama was. At least Trump LOOKS like he's being a President. Obama spent his time playing and betting on basketball, playing golf and going on vacations. Name me one thing that Obama did that benefitted this country's citizens, because I cannot think of a single thing.
