Mueller has evidence that Trump confidant went to Prague, despite denials

The suggestion is that he was in Germany, then just went quietly over the open border to the Czech Republic. I am skeptical about this because (1) it would have to have come from somebody close to the Mueller investigation, but very little has been leaking from there; (2) there is no evidence to show that Cohen was in Europe at all during that time period.

BUT ...

If it is true, it would confirm something in the Steele Dossier that has heretofore been assumed false.

On a similar note this week ...

The Comey book claims that Trump was obsessed with the pee tape and wanted Comey to investigate. But wait just a second - if Trump knew that he never did the act, then he would know that no such tape could exist, and there would be nothing to investigate. This implies to me that Trump was actually wondering if there could be such a tape, and therefore that he had done the act. I have to admit that I thought the pee tape was bullshit until I read the Comey excerpt, but now I'm beginning to think otherwise.

I'm starting to think that the Steele Dossier is much more reliable than I previously considered possible.

  2. Also the possibility that the leak came from the SDNY. They are the ones that raided Cohen and I doubt they are as tight lipped. Manafort had three US passports. I’d be surprised if Cohen had only one.

  3. Steve Van Zandt of all people is confirming that Cohen was in Europe. And Cohen has both a US and Israeli passport, it appears.
