Two of Scott Pruitt's top aides resign amid EPA scrutiny
I believe one of them was the one who chartered an aircraft carrier to get Pruitt a chicken sandwich for lunch, and the other one was on the payroll at a few hundred grand a year to remove all the brown M&Ms from Pruitt's snack bowl.
The President commented: "EPA is doing really, really well. And you know, somebody has to say that about you a little bit. EPA is doing so well...I think people are very happy with the job that's being done at the EPA."
The President did not specify who those people might be, but they are probably not people at the EPA. The article points out: "Their resignations leave Pruitt increasingly isolated at the EPA, where he has lost the confidence of most of the agency's career staff and many conservative political appointees who feel that Pruitt's ethical lapses have done a disservice to the President's agenda."
