They are the tiniest and most tragic victims of the civil war in the former Yugoslavia: Innocent babies born addicted to human blood. Known as the Vampire Babies of the Balkans, an estimated 13,000 such tykes lead dismal existences in orphanages in Bosnia and Herzegovina or are shuttled from one foster home to another.
