It has no chance to beat the all-time records for Wednesday, Thursday, or Monday because of films that opened on Wednesday and Thursday (Spider-Man 2 and Revenge of the Sith), and another film that played on a holiday Monday (Spider-Man 2 again). The Tuesday record is attainable ($15 million), but not likely because school is still in session and Spidey 3 is competing against Pirates, which set the record on a "school's out" Tuesday in July of last year.
