Rudy talks economy as poll shows him slipping -- Newsday.com

Rudy drops to fourth in Florida.
Florida has undergone a massive shift in the past six months. In July Thompson and Giuliani combined for 60% of the voters. Today: 22% (with Thompson now out). Who picked up those points, plus the 10 point drop in undecided voters? McCain 22, Huckabee 16, Romney 10.

NOTE: ARG shows McCain leading in Florida. Other recent polls (Rasmussen, e.g.) show Romney in the lead. They are clearly running neck-and-neck. Most polls show Rudy running a close third, with Huckabee a fairly close fourth, but there have been no new polls since Balloo dropped out, and he was the favorite of some 7% of voters. The race is so tight that the distribution of that 7% could decide it.
