It's impossible to disagree with many of these.
As they point out, "curate" is just an incredibly pretentious way to say "collected" or "selected." The director of the Louvre "curates" art,
but I don't "curate" silly and sexy links.
"Life Hacks" are just tips or suggestions. Nothing gets hacked.
Not every cold day is a result of a "polar vortex." A winter day is often "cold," or maybe "fucking cold" if you live in the upper midwest.
Others:
"At this point in time" is blather, spewed out by people who like to hear their own voices and can't distinguish the quantity of verbiage from its quality. You can say that with one syllable, write it with three letters - "now." If you really want to stress immediacy, you can replace "at this particular point in time" with "right now."
A statement or literary trope cannot be "cliché." It can be A cliché. If you need an adjective, it can be "clichéd." The statement "That's so cliché" is an expression which has become overused to the point of being trite or irritating. If only there was a word for something like that.
