"Actor Harrison Ford has been confirmed as the pilot of a small plane that crashed in Venice, California, on Thursday afternoon. The 72-year-old actor's vintage plane crashed into Penmar golf course just before 2:30pm. Authorities told multiple news outlets that the actor was transported in critical condition to the UCLA trauma center. His condition was later downgraded to 'fair to moderate' condition at the hospital."
I got scared when I read that he was downgraded from "critical" (how much lower can you go?) until I saw the end of the sentence. I think "fair" would actually be an UPgrade, wouldn't it?
