Dodgers make it two to zip

Dodgers make it two to zip

Justin Turner hit a game-ending three-run homer with two outs in the bottom of the ninth inning. The Mets got no production out of that guy during his three years in NY. His OPS line there was .690,.711,.704. Since he joined the Dodgers he's hitting .300+ with power, and he totally owns the post-season, hitting in the .370s over 22 games.

The Dodger bullpen was again magnificent: four full innings, no hits. They just missed being perfect again when Kenley Jansen hit Rizzo with a pitch, becoming the only Cub to reach base off the LA bullpen in the series. Jansen also screwed up against another guy - he actually allowed one Cub to make contact against him! (Although Bryant and Contreras struck out swinging yet again.) What a season Jansen had. He was 5-0 with 41 saves and only one blown save. He averaged 14 Ks per nine innings; his ERA was 1.32; and his WHIP was a microscopic .75, marking the third consecutive year his WHIP has been below .80.)
