NFL Football Scores - week 6
The Chiefs lost for the first time. The combination of Le'Veon Bell and Antonio Brown was too much for the Chiefs. Those two combined for 334 yards of offense. Bell was the week's leading rusher, and Brown was the week's top gun in receiving yardage. That defeat means that there are no more undefeated teams. In fact, there's only one other 5-1 team, the Eagles.
The Packers lost their game and, even worse, Aaron Rodgers. He may miss the rest of the season. That should give the Vikings a clear road to the top of the NFC North.
I hope you didn't have the "under" in that NO-Det game. It ended up 52-38, with the defense and special teams doing a lot of the scoring. There were three pick-sixes, another touchdown on a recovered fumble, and yet another on a punt return. The Saints scored 52 with only 379 yards from scrimmage thanks to 5 Detroit turnovers, all attributable to Matthew Stafford, who threw three picks and fumbled twice. It was a tough day for Stafford, who was 25-for-52 and was also sacked five times.
I think the Arizona Cardinals may have come up with an instant running game, at least as long as AP's legs hold out. Peterson looked like his old workhorse self, carrying 26 times for 134 yards and two scores.
