This is a misleading headline from the easily played media. What the text of the document states clearly is that the Kim Jong Un (North Korea) and the United States have committed to continue working towards denuclearization.
In other words, on this topic, they've committed to more talks.
Idiot Trump cultist, you obviously didn't read the article.
Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula
and
The United States and the DPRK commit to hold follow-on negotiations, led by the US Secretary of State, Mike Pompeo, and a relevant high-level DPRK official, at the earliest possible date, to implement the outcomes of the US-DPRK summit.
So, at this point, all they have done is commit to more talks to reach denuclearization. If North Korea has actually committed to denuclearization, what are these additional talks for? The negotiated point is not "North Korea commits to complete denuclearization, but 'commits to work towards complete denuclearization.'
I know the nuance of language is beyond the understanding of idiot Trump cultists like you.
If Trump succeeds at this, he deserves great praise, but at this point, at least in regards to denuclearization, nothing beyond an agreement to hold more talks over North Korea denuclearization has been achieved.
I contradicted myself there. I should have written "it's likely you didn't read the article, but if you did read it, it's obvious you didn't understand it."
Idiot Trump Retard, so you admit you commented on an article without reading it?
Yes, CNN did publish a misleading headline. I presume that's one reason why Scoopy put up a different article with a different headline. Contrary to your idiot Trump cultist beliefs, CNN still frequently tries to give Trump the benefit of the doubt and still reports on him as if he's a normal President and not a deranged psychopath and complete ignoramus.
I admit to something though, you impress and amaze it. I didn't think it was possible to survive with no mental capacity.
The headline is completely accurate and not really misleading. But it's a headline, not the whole story. I I am extremely skeptical that North Korea is sincere about denuclearization. That said, the summit was a step in the right direction and Trump deserves credit, particularly when you consider all the criticism he received for his "little rocket man" taunts.
I dislike Trump and absolutely HATE the way he acts. But it may just be that he is enough of a disrupter that real progress can be made in relations with North Korea. I really doubt that it will turn out that way. But at this point saying nice things about trusting Kim Jon Un is the diplomatic thing to say. Let's be happy he's being diplomatic for now. I'm sure it won't last. But who knows? Maybe we can sign a military alliance with North Korea so we can have an ally in our war with Canada.

and the headline: Trump, Kim commit to ‘complete denuclearization’ of Korean peninsula after historic summit
This is Trump's explanation on North Korea 'working towards' complete denuclearization:
“Scientifically, I’ve been watching and reading a lot of this. And it does take a long time to pull off complete denuclearization. It takes a long time. Scientifically, you have to wait certain periods of time, and a lot of things happen. But despite that, once you start the process, it means it’s pretty much over. Can’t use them, that’s the good news. That’s going to start very soon. I believe that’s going to start very soon. We will do it as fast as it can mechanically and physically be done.”
I find it amusing that Trump says he's been 'reading a lot on this.' Who knew there were children's books on denuclearization?
"See Dick work towards denuclearization. Work Dick work."
Maybe. That was my instinct. I thought to myself, "What would I do if I were an evil dictator?"
I would say "I will start getting rid of my nukes if you will stop running military exercises." Then I would say, "I will now completely remove my nukes if you will pull all your American troops off my peninsula."
Meanwhile, while you act in good faith, I would do nothing that I promised.
I can't believe I would be a better evil dictator than Un, so I'm thinking he might be up to some evil monkeyshines.
Or did you mean that Un is the sucker, because he'll get rid of his nukes and then we'll bomb the livin' bejeesis out of 'im? Yeah, I guess that could be as well.
Again, I hope all of this is paranoia and we really are moving toward the normalization of North Korea.
I am not overly concerned about the military exercise concession. I've heard it described alternatively as an end to the exercises or a pause, but functionally I don't think it makes a difference because they can be started up again if Kim fails to follow through on his commitments. The major exercises are normally held in the Spring, so not much is lost until then. Hopefully in a year we will know if Kim is serious or not.
Did it seem to anyone else that Trump was happy to end the exercises just so he could save money?

The anti-Trump narrative is becoming laughable at this point. Now we've got morons accusing CNN of misleading headlines in Trump's favor!

I personally won't believe anything until Dennis Rodman says so.
