The Browns finished 0-16.

The 49ers were 1-10 without Garoppolo, but finished 5-0 with him. He wasn't really perfect, but I'm pretty sure he's won the job.

Tom Brady led the league in passing yardage, an amazing achievement for an elderly fellow, even a spry one who can still blow out all his candles.

The first round byes go to the Patriots, Steelers, Eagles and Vikings.

The Patriots and Eagles won the permanent home field advantage.

Three teams from the NFC south have made it. Since none of them have a bye, the Panthers and Saints will have to play each other in the first round. They have already played twice this year, with the Saints winning both times (34-13 and 34-21).

Buffalo still has an NFL team? Who knew? I thought they were in that Canadian league. Jokes aside, the Buffalo Friggin' Bills have made the playoffs, which may be one of the biblical signs of the end times. (I'll have to re-read the Book of Revelations.) There were only four teams in the AFC that topped 9-7. The Bills and Titans made it with 9-7 records despite the fact that both teams allowed more points than they scored. Meanwhile, also at 9-7, the Chargers and Ravens outscored the opposition by 83 and 92 points respectively, but are out. Three NFC teams are also out with 9-7 records and positive differentials, so it is possible to argue that the two worst 9-7 teams made it.
