ReplyDeleteI could not find any evidence to support that. The scenes of her as a man were cgi and prosthetics, but I have found nothing to indicate that her female nude scenes were faked. Can you point me to anything?
DeleteI've been looking. I find references to what I saw, but can't find what I saw. I remember some quote from Walter Hill that it was all fake nudity. I did refs that she wore "fake nipples and a merkin" for her scene.
DeleteEven quotes from her are confusing. Mentions a "mangina" which seems to be separate from the prosthetic peen she talks about choosing.
I can't find a smoking gun, but I get the impression that her nipples were altered in both scenes, as male and female. The latter to make them look faked/post op. The merkin to, well, be a merkin and cover her up.
But no, nothing solid. The whole mess is very confusing. She's just been so nudity shy before, it seems weird she'd choose this project to go full frontal.
I tried to post this. Don't know what happened. Anyway, I think Laure Calamy in Ava deserves to be one the list.
ReplyDeleteSally Hawkins in The Shape of Water. Not only does she perform beautiful nudity, but has both masturbation scenes and some rather kinky implied romance. Classic stuff! It's new and still in limited release, but it would be a shame to leave it off.
