Roseanne Barr says she's not racist - it's just what the n__s want you to think!

She didn't really say that, of course. She couldn't have because, although ugly and racist, it represents a coherent thought. In a series of Tweets she actually said things like, "Rod Serling wrote Planet of The Apes. It was about anti-semitism. That is what my tweet referred to - the anti-semitism of the Iran deal. Low IQ ppl can think whatever they want."

The earlier tweet she's referring to was “Muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby = vj.” (VJ means Valerie Jarrett, a former aide to President Obama.)

Her alleged oblique condemnation of antisemitism is a new defense. She previously explained that she made the Jarrett tweet, which she called wrong and indefensible, at 2:00 am while on Ambien. The manufacturer of Ambien tweeted, "While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect."

Roseanne was raised in a Jewish household, but she's not exactly famed for her sensitivity to antisemitism. This is the woman who once called Israel a “Nazi state,” attacked “trolls” who objected to her support for a Holocaust denier, and was once photographed dressed up as Adolf Hitler taking “Jew Cookies” out of an oven. (Yeah, I know it was a comedy sketch.)
